The British Automation and Robot Association is hosting a series of Business Breakfast Meetings, one of which is at the NCFM at Holbeach on Wednesday 30th March, focused on the Food and Beverage Industry.

The meetings are part of an awareness campaign called ‘Automating Manufacturing’ and seek to inform how businesses might be able to take advantage of a new government fund made available to encourage automation in UK manufacturing.  Automation and robotic technology has moved on in leaps and bounds over the past decade and is no longer just the domain of larger companies producing large product volumes in fairly ‘CIP-averse’ environments.  Yet as a country we are way behind our nearest competitors.  The breakfast meetings aim to provide an explanation of some of these changes, and an opportunity to learn how funding might be accessed whilst speaking directly with experts in the field.
