The Food and Drink Innovation Network ( i-Net) is running a seminar on Tuesday 12th April to help companies implement and manage robust quality systems and procedures, which can be instrumental in the smooth running of a business. The free one day event at Nottingham’s Southglade Food Park is open to food manufacturers, distributors and food service organisations.

It will focus on the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) food safety management system and the Safe And Local Supplier Approval (SALSA) scheme. The seminar is aimed at businesses looking to improve the quality of their business operations, considering certification to SALSA or another small business standard, or those that need help tackling the barriers that are preventing them from achieving the quality standards required by their customers.

Over the course of the day attendees will be provided with practical advice and guidance on how to approach these key food and drink sector quality systems along with real life examples of the most cost effective way to implement them within a business. A short package of additional support will be on offer to eligible companies, in order to help businesses make the most of their improved knowledge and understanding and work towards achieving quality systems.

Further information on the seminar and how to book can be found on the flyer, downloadable from our website: http://lincoln.ac.uk/holbeach/Masterclasses/Other Events/Quality Support for Quality Systems – Email Version (FINAL).pdf
