As part of its efforts to help local business in Lincolnshire reduce energy bills and emissions and beat traffic congestion, the County Council is looking into alternative ways to move freight, such as use of rail and inland waterways. Whilst this will not be an option for every business in Lincolnshire, the Council would be interested to know the views of local companies, particularly those who have tried to use alternative modes or who would be interested in finding out more. The short survey can be accessed online at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SKYLDX8. In addition, a working lunch for interested companies is being organised in early March, for further information please contact Nick Gallop on 0845 130 4388 or email nick@intermodality.com.
